About Grapevine Golf Course

Originally designed by Byron Nelson and Joe Finger, Grapevine Golf Course opened to its first players in 1979. Located just east of Lake Grapevine Dam off Fairway Drive, the course has provided golfing challenges to all levels of players since its inception. The course plays more than 6,900 yards for 18 holes from the black tees. With plenty of bunkers, tree-lined fairways, waterways and large multilevel greens, this course can provide entertainment to both the high handicapper and low handicapper alike.

The course has undergone a major expansion and modernizing renovation and now has some of the best greens and fairways in the DFW Metroplex. PGA Touring Pro D.A. Weibring’s Irving-based design firm, Golf Resources, Inc., has designed improvements to the old course and added nine more holes to make a total of 27 available at the facility. By adding a new advanced lighting system to the training facility, golfers can now train in the evenings.
